Novodente Launches Kiwi Crown

1 September 2014, Wellington, New Zealand.

Today Novodente dental laboratory launches an exciting new product group to help support dentists in New Zealand.

Kiwi Crown is a group of restorations designed to offer dentists an affordable, quality restoration made in New Zealand.

Over the past few years dentist have found themselves having to outsource more and more of their restorations to developing countries to take advantage of their cheep labour markets. New Zealand laboratories have found it difficult to compete with this and have to found ways to offer alternatives.

3d-printing as a technology has already begun to change the face of manurfacture. It has the ability to rapidly produce indervidual models of almost anything that can be conceived. 3d-printing can even produce items that were impossible to produce with conventional manurfacturing techniques.

Dental technology and 3d-printing go hand in hand. In a world where ever mouth is different, ever restoration must be different.

Kiwi Crown is the amalgamation of traditional dental technology techniques and brand new 3d-technology.
